Kill Me Heal Me takes over no#1 spot for Weds-Thurs miniseries

When psychological dramas come all in one go from 3 TV stations, it was a total mess and quite confusing if you watch 3 at one go. I seriously gave up after watching 2 episodes of tVN's Heart to Heart and I didn't bother to watch Hyde, Jekyll, and I even though it's Hyun Bin's first ever drama after coming out from military services.

Apparently Kill Me, Heal Me drama slotted on Wednesday-Thursday drama was growing steady on number 1 spot. Ever since first episode was broadcasted on 7th January, it has already received 10.3% in ratings in Seoul. Although the ratings are not super high but it was popular as ever with leading actors Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum playing their characters so well. Never would I imagine Ji Sung would be portraying so many split personalities in a drama.

First he was calm and kind Cha Do Hyun who is the heir to Seung Jin Group, then he transforms into the romantic-violent Shin Se Gi. From there he even branches out into the flamboyant Perry Park who dreams of only vacationing away and throwing time bombs! LOL!
Again he comes up with 2 teeny childish personalities- Yo Sub who tends to committ suicide and pretty Yo Na who adores the writer Ri-On (played by Park Seo Joon).

Then there's Nana the child who was stuck at the basement with the teddy bear and another Mysterious X person who dresses like a typical magician. There were like 7 different personalities that brought Ji Sung into the limelight. At first the lead roles were offered to singer/actor Lee Seung Gi and actress Im Ji Yoon but both of them turned down the offer. At last Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum decided to take up the offer after working together in the drama 'Secret Love' with Bae Soo Bin and Lee Da Hee.

And we thought this was going to be another slow drama but after Ji Sung carried out his split personalities so well, everyone admired his acting skills. I personally think Cha Do Hyun was nice and perfect but I would prefer someone like Shin Se Gi! Haha! (the bad guy's styleThe clothings and make up does make one look so different. Perfect!
Meanwhile Hyun Bin's drama was struggling to reach two digit. And the last two episodes screened on TV were as little as 4.1% according to Seoul's AGB record. It has sort of hit rock bottom compared to other dramas Hyun Bin has done.

Both actors were careful when selecting the dramas and scripts. However it's up to the actors to portray the roles well and psychological dramas are not everyone's cup of tea.
My mother gave up even after watching first few episodes of Kill Me, Heal Me. I have to say I watch it is because of Ji Sung and Park Seo Joon. These two actors so far have never failed me in their dramas they have done.

So dramas ratings were equally as important as to boost up one's confidence and the entire cast who worked hard to bring us these dramas.
