Joo Won gives up the police job to enlist actively in military duty.
Actor Joo Won (29) has chosen to enlist in the active military duty.
According to his agency, Joo Won has passed the police test however the enlistment date has yet to be determined.
Joo Won has debuted in musicals such as Alta Boys, The Ghost. He rose to stardom when he appeared as the villain in the popular drama 'Baker King: Kim Tak Gu' alongside with Yoon Shi Yoon and Eugene. He was then offered bigger roles in Ojakyo Brothers, Bridal Mask, 7th Level Civil Servant,Good Doctor and not long ago he earned himself a 'Dae-sang' grand prize award for his SBS drama Yong Pal.
He plans to enlist for active full military duties instead of a police position. He is currently filming for the pre-production drama version of 'My Sassy Girl'.
The movie itself gained so much attention and fame after veteran actor Cha Tae Hyun and actress Jeon Ji Hyun starred in it.
