The dice has been rolled out and Hong Ra On (played by Kim Yoo Jung) is in huge dilemma upon hearing the sad truth about her true identity and her father is Hong Kyung Rae- the rebellion wanted by the government. She has to make the decision to either stay with the Crown Prince or leave the palace for good.

Still she chose to return back to see Lee Young (played by Park Bo Gum) for the last time before she makes her final farewell to her close friends and colleagues. Ra On puts her best smile in front of Young to ensure he's at peace. However he's been pressure from the Ministers and also to find real instigator behind the recent attack at his quarters. 

Yoon Sung (played by Jinyoung) rekindles his friendship with Young after the incident.

Young knows Yoon Sung treasures that friendship and even risked his life to protect him during the attack. Yoon Sung even finds out more shocking secrets about Queen Kim hiding another court lady who has given birth to a baby boy. Pouncing with worries, Byung Yeon seeks for Yoon Sung's assistance to get Ra On out of the palace ASAP for her safety.

Lady Ha Yeon (played by Chae Soo Bin) visits the Crown Prince with a piece of advice- get married and use her family as stepping stone. Young stands firm that he doesn't want to go to that extent since Ha Yeon will have to endure loneliness for the rest of her life even though her family might prosper. Knowing that Young doesn't love her, still she believes they should go ahead with the arranged marriage for his own good. 

Ra On tucks the Crown Prince to bed and due to exhaustion, he starts dozing off even he could feel she is just lying beside him. Inside her mind, she starts feeling the reality of her being a rebellion's daughter will only harm him. For one last time, she bids her farewell with tears and kisses Young while he's fast asleep. The next morning, Young meets his other ministers who has informed him about the rebellion's daughter and her real name has been revealed as Hong Ra On. 


The real truth starts sinking in hard when Young realizes that Ra On is the long lost daughter of Hong Kyung Rae. He finds it hard to accept the truth and he starts picking up his pace running towards Jahyeondang quarters.  However he only sees a pile of the eunuch's uniform and the eternity bracelet left behind. Ra On has already left the palace safely without saying goodbye or a letter. Poor Lee Young standing there looking gobsmacked.
Tears, pain and separation continues with the Crown Prince sobbing to his heart knowing his loved one has left him and went on hiding. 

Viewers and fans are left with another few episodes to the finale, are we heading for a happy or sad ending for this fairy tale story?
