1 Night 2 Days casts gets a surprise visit from TWICE.

The recent mission of overcoming the heat in 1N2D episode 156 continues on after visiting Cheongdo Wine Tunnel. The summer heat is intense and blaring. The members were getting tired and hungry since PD Yu Il Yong is not being flexible with them. Junho suggests to rebel against the PD and production team. All agreed and refused to budge when PD Yu asks them to get out from the van. Surprisingly Junho was the first to give in to where Jongmin betrays him and said he was the one suggested to rebel but the first to give up easily! 

They visited the serene walk trails leading to Unmunsa Temple (운문사)  located on the southernmost part of the Taebaek Mountains in Gyeongsangbuk-do.The Buddhist temple was built during the 21st century in King Jinheung's reign. Junho tried to hide under the tent with the nuns but Jongmin caught him out. PD Yu asks if they know anything about Samguk Sagi and Samguk Yusa. The brains of the group Shi Yoon answers correctly Samguk Sagi is a historical record of the 3 Kingdoms of Korea wherelse Yusa is the Memorabilia of the 3 Kingdoms is a collection of legends and folktales penned by different authors. Oooo and aaa exclamations from the other members. Junyoung asked a silly question if the authors are still alive. They were told to change to more comfortable temple clothes and headed to the cool river valley for next mission.

Their mission to overcome heat is to meditate and not to waver at anything they see or hear. They were given 10 minutes to stare at some direction and not to move around. If any member moves, PD Yu start splatting water from the water gun. First 5 minutes was fine with Junho getting stiff neck and Junyoung's eyes getting tired from staring at the sky.
Defconn starts to get agitated too but first to give in was Tae Hyun as he saw the girl group TWICE entering from his direction dancing smiling away at them. The last 2 competitors were Junyoung and Shiyoon but they soon gave up as TWICE went straight in front of their face. Tae Hyun smirks at Shiyoon for he rather give up the girl group for food. He shook his head. The girls think he's handsome and the person who most concentrated well. 
As everyone knows Tae Hyun is a super fan of TWICE, wait till he gets home he'll be nagged by his wife. 

PD Yu tells the girls to pick the partner they want to team for eating Patbingsoo mission. To their shock, Shiyoon and Jongmin didn't have any girls standing behind them. 

Eating Patbingsoo and being fed by the members seem heaven and glory for the grown up men except Shiyoon wanted to prove and win the mission. However stupid Jongmin screwed it up at the last minute spilling the left over. Next game was Jechagi (hacky sack) where they have to kick the mini shuttlecock with their feet to which the girls failed miserably as I have expected as they aren't flexible enough. Defconn team wins so they chose Black bean noodles for lunch, Taehyun's team chose the Duck stew, Junyoung's team chose the ripe persimmon while Junho's team took the Sweet and sour pork (vegetarian). Shiyoon had the corn while Jongmin took the roasted potatoes. After all the happy chatting, TWICE have to move on and bid farewell to them. The members were bitterly disappointed that they have to leave early. Shi Yoon kept his compose and didn't react that crazily upon seeing girl groups. I guess he's used to seeing prettier actress on drama/movie sets all the time. 

(To be honest, I didn't particularly like this episode where the girls did nothing except acting cute...sha..sha..sha! Not that they were poor in games playing but they just did nothing that stood out compared to the actresses special) And seriously I'd pick Shi Yoon anytime for a team. He's adorable as ever... 

It was coming to evening so the members were brought to a big running outdoor sports centre. Defconn smiled upon seeing banners written for cheering 1N2D team and thought it was for some girl groups such as TWICE or GFRIEND. However it was all a plan and trick by PD Yu to excite them. The two big vans turned up but guests were all KBS Sports commentator and ex-athletes. They were to work for the upcoming RIO 2016 Olympics. Here they are to join 1N2D in the Old Man Idol Athletics Competition. Hahah! They sat in rows and the female presenter threw them some questions to determine if they belong to the young or old generation. First Q was how to make a heart when showing your love to someone. The older veterans started showing their hearts with their arms and body. However the younger ones will use their fingers to show the heart signs. Tae Hyun seems to belong to the 'ahjussi' group. Next Q is using short terms of korean language and they have to figure it out what it means. The old commentators struggle to write what it means but Junyoung and Shiyoon seems to be doing very well.
