It seems to be heavy and lonely for some reason. Most of the TV dramas are about the life of the dead and always been surrounded with sadness. However, the new JTBC drama is something new to anticipate.
On 23rd October, a new web drama entitled Terms of Romance 막판로맨스 has released its production presentation at the JTBC building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul which will bring more bright and refreshing story plot.
The story plot is about a top star Ji Seol Woo and a simpleton girl Baek Se (played by Han Seung Yeon). Baek Se discovered she has time limit when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She decided to stay on her bucket list that is to date the ideal man she loves.
Yoon Dong Jun (played by Lee Seo Won) is an inspiring actor who resembles a lot the top star Ji Seol Woo. Due to a big obstacle in his career life, he decided to undergo plastic surgery to gain confidence. However the surgery costs is a big concern. Baek Se meets Dong Jun coincidentally and signs a dating contract with him. Since she is an orphan, she has to quickly meet her deadline.
Han has mentioned she has not played such role before so it's quite different whereby she tries not to be a tragic heroine but to paint a picture of happiness without losing hope even in a painful reality. Thinking positive and live life to the fullest. Of course there are sad scenes in the drama. Terms of Romance is a romantic comedy genre, especially in the early years, it was supposed to be bright enough to be confused with whether it was a real cancer or a prank.
PD Kim mentioned that drama is a work that deals with the contracted love of cancer patients with a deadline, but the atmosphere of the drama is brilliant. As a web drama,one begins to figure out how to overcome those sufferings and how we end up living our lives.
Lee Seo Won who is currently finishing up MBC drama Hospital Ship comes out to a new role as Yoon Dong Jun. His other roles in The Liar and his Lover, Uncontrollably Fondly and movie Man of Will is certainly gathering interest from the public.
His co-partners in dramas seem to be older and more matured actresses. With Han Seung Yeon, she is 9 years older than him. As for actress Ha Ji Won, it was a big age gap of 19 years between them. He doesn't take into account for the age gap when it comes to acting.
Terms of Romance will start to air via Naver TV everyday for at least 15 minutes until 3rd November.
