Girl's Day Minah ditches eyeliner for Beautiful Gong Shim.

Idol group Girl's Day member Minah has decided to erase away the thick sexy eyeliner make up look for the upcoming SBS drama Beautiful Gong Shim 미녀 공심.

Mrs.Cop 2 has subsequently ended last week and now it has been replaced by Beautiful Gong Shim directed by PD Baek Soo Chan and scriptwriter Lee Hee Myung.

Also starring in the drama is Nam Goong Min, Seo Hye Rim, On Joo Wan, Oh Hyun Kyung, Gyeon Mi Ri and Kim Il Woo. 

The story is about a second daughter who inherited the brains from her beautiful mother but has ugly features from her father. Gong Shim is humble and has a warm character. Meanwhile the elder sister Gong Mi has everything a woman wants. The 2 sisters then stumble across 2 men - one who lives in a roof top and another from a wealthy family. 

Minah pointed out the character Gong Shim is a nice warm friend rather than having a pretty face. She hopes to deliver that character perfectly to the audience. As a fellow vocalist of the girl group Girl's Day, this has proven a challenge for the singer to take up this main leading role. She has starred in dramas Vampire Idol in 2011 and Holly in 2013. 

As a solo artist, Minah has contributed to various drama OST such as The King's Face, Doctor Stranger and Sweet Savage Family.

When Minah first met up with her co-stars Nam Goong Min and Seo Hye Rim- many questions were flooding in her brain. They wonder can she pull through this leading role? Can this newbie actually get this job done? It has been quite a heavy burden for her. She was worried as well. 

Minah feels rather pressure to be team up with Nam Goong Min but she is hoping to change all and make it work. We wish her all the best in the upcoming drama!
