Hwang Chi Yeol is Korea's new rock star.

If you have been following MNet's I Can See Your Voice program, one would have noticed in the episode featuring female vocalist Lena Park Jung Hyun- there was one outstanding candidate- Hwang Chi Yeol. He happened to be a vocal trainer for some idol groups such as Infinite, After School, Lovelyz, Hello Venus... and in between he worked various part time jobs.

Hwang not only possesses good looks, height but he has an impressive deep husky voice. 

One could easily pass his voice as the veteran vocal singer 
Im Jae Bum who is famous for his romantic songs such as Confession 고해 and For You 너를 위해. After appearing in MNet's program, he has been invited to various shows such as I Am Singer, Immortal Songs, Radio Star, Happy Together and I Live Alone.

From there his fame picked up tremendously when China's TV broadcasting station Hunan TV invited him to perform at China's version I Am Singer. He was voted and won the Most Talented Foreigner Artist in China. 

When he appeared in Immortal Songs program, he won 3 times with dramatic touching songs such as 'Father' and 'Burden'. 

Hwang has released some songs for drama OST such as Confession in Lovers drama OST, SBS drama The Great Seer and Mrs. Cop 2.

His then manager Jang Yu-An becomes his manager in I Am Singer chinese version.
Jang has appeared in South Korea's variety programs such as Where is My Friend's Home, Happy Together and permanent cast member in jTBC's Non-Summit along with other foreigners who have resided in Korea.
