Jasper Cho and Lee Jong Hyuk in Descendants of the Sun.

In Episode 5 of Descendants of the Sun, viewers were treated to new faces in the drama. Veteran actor Lee Jong Hyuk made his cameo appearance as one of the senior soldiers whom Song Joong Ki looked up to. Lee's role was also a UN peacekeeper who helped to save out Shi Jin and Argus played by David Lee McInnis.

The story slowly unfolds Shi Jin and Argus were like team mates in serving their country.

However Argus decided to go to the 'dark' side by choosing to sell guns and illegal trade in Urk. He crosses path with Shi Jin again in Urk but he has been warned not to come near him. For once Shi Jin regrets in saving Argus when Lee's role died while helping the two board the chopper. 

There's also a new face to the screen- Daniel (played by Jasper Cho) who is an ER doctor who owns a store with his wife Ye Hwa. Daniel is a Korean-American so he's practically speaking lots of English dialogues more than his native language. But he's cute and very capable in fixing everything. Daniel tells Mu Yeon on Shi Jin's past and history on his real job. Mu Yeon starts to slowly understand why Shi Jin became a soldier and felt bad for his comrades who have all died.

SHinee's Onew is bring much comic relief to the screen as First Resident Chi Hoon. He along with the other Doctor in the medical cube team. He's jovial and very lively. And not to forget our chef Kim Ki Bum who joined the army because of Dae Young. He's a cutie pie.

After all the bickering between Shi Jin and Mu Yeon, they start to realize things do not go smoothly as it is. Myeong Ju arrives in the base camp as an ER doctor but she gets on Mu Yeon's nerves by announcing she is the woman Shi Jin will be marrying. Just as Mu Yeon starts to have something for Shi Jin, they have been told their Captain is returning back to South Korea. The General has instructed Shi Jin to go back and work in the Ministry of Defense since he was uconsidered like the future 'son-in-law' to Myeong Ju's father. 
Ok- now I pity poor Dae Young who is in love with Myeong Ju but he understands he has lost his fight against all. There is no one else the General Yoon will pick as a son in law except for Shi Jin. 

And just as Shi Jin bids farewell to Mu Yeon telling her to take care of herself, the two ran

into a disaster again resulting them confessing to each other. After helping Mu Yeon out, the next morning Shi Jin leaves for Seoul. Even in Seoul, Shi Jin often thinks of Mu Yeon who is doing the same in Urk. But the most shocking thing that has happened is when Shi Jin heard there was an earth quake measuring 6.8 at the Richter scale at Urk. Myeong Ju and Mu Yeon were doing their best with the medical team treating many wounded people 

Dae Young and Shi Jin were both worried for their 'women' in Urk battling by themselves.
