Ryu Hwa Young cameo in Descendants of the Sun.

Actress Ryu Hwa Young makes a cameo appearance in the popular drama Descendants of the Sun as Dae Young's ex-girlfriend who is preparing for her wedding.

In Episode 4, it reminiscences back where Seo Dae Young (played by Jin Goo) first met the feisty army doctor Yoon Myeong Ju (played by Kim Ji Won) in the camp. He has a stoic face expression while leaving the rest unable to figure out what he is thinking.  Forced to bring in Myeong Ju to the wedding, the two crashed the event pretending as a couple by showing off he can continue living well without the ex-girlfriend. Well thanks to Myeong Ju, he manages to scoot off with those lies and make the other party

angry. 

While Dae Young and Myeong Ju successfully screw up the wedding party, then Yoo Shi Jin (played by Song Joong Ki) steps into the picture. Myeong Ju's father,a 3 star general has always thought of Shi Jin as his future son-in-law however she isn't slight interested in Shi Jin instead she really ends up dating Dae Young. Somehow he asked for the break up due to family restrictions. Myeong Ju turns up at Uruk hoping to see Dae Young again, it was already time to bid farewell to her. Her father has given an order to transfer him back to Special Forces in South Korea. Disappointed that Dae Young is running away again from her, this time he tells her to take care of herself and hugs her. 

Well, thanks to many cameos from Lee Kwang Soo in the first episode has attracted many viewers. Not to forget, at the end of episode 3, the Korean peacekeepers army were having trouble dealing with the Arabs whereby Kang Mu Yeon (played by Song Hae Gyo) insists she can operate and save the Arab VIP. Shi Jin received disciplinary action with 3 months pay cut because he disobeyed the command. Mu Yeon doesn't understand why Shi Jin is the responsible person when she is the operating surgeon. 



When Mu Yeon visited him in the military base, he tells her he it's not her fault. He mentioned about his job, what they do, if they die they would not be identified, and the gunshot he had was for his 
seniors. He definitely honors and has a sense of duty for his comrades while making the decision. And he doesn't regret making that decision. It was him who disobeyed the order so he should be held responsible. 

Mu Yeon apologizes for her harsh actions while Shi Jin still hopes to go for a movie-date and glass of wine with her. Mu Yeon tells him she is not watching any movie, well thanks to that someone. Shi Jin replied that someone has to be him while swooping in for a kiss. 
Ah...at last...we see some romance sparks on Kang-Yoo couple. *Sweet*
