MBC's Marriage Contract 결혼계약 kicks off at 17.2% ratings.

It was neck to neck when MBC and SBS both broadcasting stations were screening new dramas on the weekend. MBC's newest drama Marriage Contract 결혼계약 starring Lee Seo Jin and idol UEE has taken the 1st spot. SBS's newest drama Mrs.Cop 2 starring Kim Sung Ryung, Kim Bum, Lee Min Jong and Sohn Dambi has taken off with 9.2% for first episode. It was a far big difference in episode ratings.

Seems that our prickly hyung Lee Seo Jin is definitely popular in any dramas he has done. For all we know the dramas Lee has done have been big hits and this is no surprise to viewers he is gaining lots of attention. In the Seoul metropolitan area ratings for the 1st episode of Marriage Contract recorded as high as 18.3% and 18.2%, respectively.

Marriage Contract revolves about a young single mother who raises her daughter with hardships. UEE plays the single mother, Kang Hye Soo while Lee Seo Jin plays the rich playboy chaebol's heir Han Ji Hoon. While raising her daughter on her own, Hye Soo realizes she is diagnosed with a terminal illness which was a big blow. She then meets Ji Hoon whereby the two sets a contract to be a marriage couple as she needs a guardian for her daughter when she dies.
