Hallyu group EXO leads the first spot for '2017 Soribada Best K-Music Awards'.
EXO has won three awards at the awards ceremony held at the Seoul Jamsil Student Gymnasium on the afternoon of the 20th September. The event is sponsored by the music source site Soribada- taking home the Grand Prize, the Main Prize and the most Popular Prize.
EXO has recently sold more than 1 million for their new released 4th Album in sales and recorded its fourth million-seller. It has confirmed that EXO remains their strong popularity.
The Soribada Awards is the first music awards ceremony of the year and the interest in the results of other awards will be on the way.
Rookie group, Wanna One has emerged as a popular group immediately after their debut, scoring two awards for popularity and rising star. Girl group TWICE was also awarded the Bonsang award.
This year the Bonsang award is presented out to various artists- EXO, TWICE, GFriend, BAP, T-Ara, Mamamoo, BTOB, vocalist Hwang Chi Yeol, Monsta-X, Red Velvet, VIXX and others.
Also the international popular group BTS released their mini album took home the Shin Han Ryu Artist award. The newcomer award was presented to Wanna One by Pentagon.
Trot star awards was given out to veteran Tae Jin Ah and Hong Jin Young.
The Music Star Award was awarded to Sonamoo and KNK, OST award was presented to Ailee. Shinhan Ryu Icon award was handed to Red Velvet and Shinhan Ryu Performance Award goes to NCT127.
