On 25th September, according to the film distributor New Entertainment World- Steel Rain" will be released in December 2017. The film is the second feature film directed by PD Yang who shot to stardom with his hit movie "The Attorney" ( viewers of 11.37 million) in 2013. Steel Rain is about the secrets of spying within North and South Korea. It is a result of a coup d'état in North Korea, a presidential election in which the president and a presidential electors are present.
A reconnaissance agent who helps to draw a story as he sneaks into South Korea. Jung Woo-sung plays the elite agent of North Korea's reconnaissance squad- Uhm Cheol-woo and Kwak Do-won plays 'Kwak Chul Woo' as a chief secretary for foreign affairs and security at Presidential Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House). In fact the story is based on a webtoon.
Also, veteran actors Kim Gab Soo, Kim Eui Sung, Kim Ji Ho and Lee Gyeong Yeong are co-starring in the film.
Director Yang said he hoped that this work will serve as a basis for calm recognition and imagination when viewers look at the reality more calmly than ever and imagine our future positively.
