Infinite Challenge casts head to west Russia for astronaut training.

MBC TV Entertainment program 'Infinite Challenge' will be having their latest challenge- spaceflight!

According to MBC officials, on 5th October the casts consists of Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myung Soo, Jung Jun Ha, Ha Ha and Kwang Hee are expected to leave for their 'special training astronaut experience' episode to Russia's space station- Gagarin Research & Test Cosmonaut Training Center.

In regards to this, the official also mentioned that the original departure date is on 19th October however due to international aspects, it is rather difficult to determine the exact date and there might be slight changes to it.

Infinite Challenge team is reportedly to undergo the training of flying as an astronaut in the Gagarin Center. PD Kim Tae Ho has mentioned early this year there will be special universe trailer whereby this is what has been revealed- the casts are going to receive astronaut training skills. 

Good luck to the Infinite Challenge team as 'future astronauts'! LOL! 

Block B's Park Kyung is a member of MENSA Korea.

Looks like boy band Block B has a brainy boy in the group. 

On 4th October, the official Twitter has been posted that Block B's member Park Kyung has passed the test and he is eligible to enter MENSA Korea. tVN's program Problematic Men is a variety program whereby they test the guests and casts on TV.

Block B debut in 2000 and Park Kyung has the notice of the membership of MENSA organisation. MENSA Korea is for the high IQ society of South Koreans and foreigners who are eligible to apply. 

MENSA membership is given to members who have passed the IQ test of a score of 148 and above. Among the celebs in Korea who are MENSA members are announcer Han Joon Ho, entertainer Ryu Shi Hyun, announcer Jung Ji Won, actress Ha Yeon Joo, producer and CEO JY Park, Epik High singer Tablo and actor Kim Jeong Hoon.

Song Joong Ki to cameo in jTBC's Man to Man drama.

Fans will be treated to some delight since Hallyu star Song Joong Ki will be appearing as a cameo in the upcoming jTBC drama Man to Man. The drama is to be written by Kim Won Suk and directed by PD Lee Chang Min.

Park Sun Woong, Park Hae Jin, Song Joong Ki, Yeon Jang Hoon

On 4th October, jTBC rep confirmed that actor Song Joong Ki will be playing the role of an assistant to the big star Yeo Eun Kwang - played by Park Sun Woong. 

Song will be making his cameo appearance since he has worked together with the writer Kim Won Suk who has written the popular KBS drama Descendants of the sun. Song has even seen the drama script personally by the writer.

It will be his first appearance drama since he was last seen in April. 

Man to Man is about a big star Yeo Eun Kwang with fellow NIS agent Kim Seol Woo (played by Park Hae Jin). The drama also co-stars Yeon Jang Hoon, Chae Jung Ahn and Kim Min Jung. 

Girl group S.E.S reunited after 14 years.

It seems lately the first generation idol groups are gathering back and returning for a piece of share in the music industry. It is no difference for SM's first girl group S.E.S as the three women are reunited for their come back for their 20th anniversary since first debut.

On 3rd October, main vocalist Bada mentioned that the members are preparing to create a meaningful time together which is for eternal. It is also to greet fans for their upcoming 20th anniversary. SNS was uploaded with 3 ladies taken together in Instagram with S.E.S fan club name on it.

The founder of S.M Entertainment- Lee Soo Man is part of the producer representative will be looking into the future plans as he was the original person who founded the group and formed them together. This is the first starting step and hopefully there will be good news soon!

In 2014, MBC's Infinite Challenge program reunited many 90's idol groups together with Saturday Night Singer episodes. Even former trio group Turbo (Kim Jong Kook and Mikey) are reunited after 15 years apart. This year itself Infinite Challenge has brought the first generation boy band Sechs Kies back together after 16 years of hiatus. Now Sechs Kies has accomplished their mission of reuniting, having concerts and performing back on stage...it seems this is gathering interest for future reunion of H.O.T group? If fans were to count, this year will mark the 20th anniversary of H.O.T's debut.

The dice has been rolled out and Hong Ra On (played by Kim Yoo Jung) is in huge dilemma upon hearing the sad truth about her true identity and her father is Hong Kyung Rae- the rebellion wanted by the government. She has to make the decision to either stay with the Crown Prince or leave the palace for good.

Still she chose to return back to see Lee Young (played by Park Bo Gum) for the last time before she makes her final farewell to her close friends and colleagues. Ra On puts her best smile in front of Young to ensure he's at peace. However he's been pressure from the Ministers and also to find real instigator behind the recent attack at his quarters. 

Yoon Sung (played by Jinyoung) rekindles his friendship with Young after the incident.

Young knows Yoon Sung treasures that friendship and even risked his life to protect him during the attack. Yoon Sung even finds out more shocking secrets about Queen Kim hiding another court lady who has given birth to a baby boy. Pouncing with worries, Byung Yeon seeks for Yoon Sung's assistance to get Ra On out of the palace ASAP for her safety.

Lady Ha Yeon (played by Chae Soo Bin) visits the Crown Prince with a piece of advice- get married and use her family as stepping stone. Young stands firm that he doesn't want to go to that extent since Ha Yeon will have to endure loneliness for the rest of her life even though her family might prosper. Knowing that Young doesn't love her, still she believes they should go ahead with the arranged marriage for his own good. 

Ra On tucks the Crown Prince to bed and due to exhaustion, he starts dozing off even he could feel she is just lying beside him. Inside her mind, she starts feeling the reality of her being a rebellion's daughter will only harm him. For one last time, she bids her farewell with tears and kisses Young while he's fast asleep. The next morning, Young meets his other ministers who has informed him about the rebellion's daughter and her real name has been revealed as Hong Ra On. 


The real truth starts sinking in hard when Young realizes that Ra On is the long lost daughter of Hong Kyung Rae. He finds it hard to accept the truth and he starts picking up his pace running towards Jahyeondang quarters.  However he only sees a pile of the eunuch's uniform and the eternity bracelet left behind. Ra On has already left the palace safely without saying goodbye or a letter. Poor Lee Young standing there looking gobsmacked.
Tears, pain and separation continues with the Crown Prince sobbing to his heart knowing his loved one has left him and went on hiding. 

Viewers and fans are left with another few episodes to the finale, are we heading for a happy or sad ending for this fairy tale story? 

Busan gears up for One Asia Festival 2016.

The state Busan at the south part of South Korea is having a ball of the time for the month of October. Busan holds its annual Busan International Film Festival in October and this year they are holding 2016 Busan One Asia Festival- includes K-pop artists.

2016 Busan One Asia Festival will be held from 1st October to 23rd October at Busan (BEXCO, Busan Asiad Main Stadium). It will include many great performances and concerts from idol groups such as INFINITE, PSY, Block B, GOT7, Sechs Kies, B1A4, Girls Generation, Girl's Day, T-Ara, A-Pink, CNBLUE, BAP, BTS group, vocalist Lyn and newbies TWICE and I.O.I.

The opening concert will be on 1st October followed by One Asia K-Pop concert on 2nd to 4th October and lastly One Asia Dream Concert on 23rd October. The event also features fan meetings with some idol groups.

Jung Jun Young leaving 1 Night 2 days program to self-reflect.

After being involved with the molestation charges, singer Jung Jun Young has announced that he will be leaving the popular KBS2TV variety program 1 Night 2 Days. 

On 29th September, KBS official has advised that Jun Young will be doing some self reflecting for his actions and regardless whether he's guilty or innocent, he sincerely wishes all the best to the current remaining casts of the 1N2D program. He also apologizes for his actions to the viewers and fans including his fellow colleagues.

The filming of 1N2D will proceed as it is on 30th September, except the coming episodes will only feature 5 remaining members- Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Jun Ho, Defconn, Kim Jong Min and Yoon Shi Yoon. 

Jung Jun Young received a file of complaint and charges from Seoul Seongdong Police Station as to he filmed a sex scene on video without the woman's consent. The two people have been taken to the police station to clarify further as the case is proceeded and passed to a state prosecutor. 

KBS has yet to plan and decide after the results of the court case considering the prosecution is not over as yet.

Park Hyo Shin, SHInee, TWICE, Kim Gun Mo- come back in October.

October is the month of battle with the stars- war of the music industry. It seems the popular singers are all rushing for their come backs without taking any breaks.

Among those are singers Park Hyo Shin, Ailee, Davichi, Crush are all releasing their new albums. Also joining the chase are idol groups SHInee and BTS 방탄소년단 . 

New rookie girl groups TWICE and I.O.I are sweeping the music charts for the first half year however veteran singers Kim Gun Mo and Lee So Ra are coming back into the charts as well.

Park Hyo Shin is preparing for his 7th album entitled 'I am a Dreamer'.  It also contains songs such as Home, A Beautiful Tomorrow where it will be released on music sites such as MNet, Bugs, Naver, Genie, OLE Music, Soribada...etc.

First generation hip-hop godmother Yoon Mi Rae has her formidable barrage of aid whereby she is participating in the support of female vocalist Ailee. After 1 year and 5 months, Ailee is back to conquer the charts with her mini album 'A New Empire'. 

Duo female group Davichi is also taking their share in releasing their new mini album 'Half Half (50 X Half)'. The showcase by these two powerful female vocalists appears to generate lots of attention. The aggressive promotion has proven the hit single 'Choice' is a top hit.

Crush is also receiving overwhelming support in the promotion of young women with a new album entitled Wonder Lust. He's hoping to spread the 'Room- Wonder Lust' via online and offline.

Contemporary band SHInee is always featuring experimental music and choreography once again met the high expectations of their fans. Their new album '1 of 1' is an impressive blend of music, funky rhythms and smooth R & B tunes to swing genre as in the 1990's.
It is a difficult but interesting concept for the group to establish a wider fan base.

And the most recent is BTS group who will be releasing on 10th October their new 2nd album entitled 'WINGS'. The album concept is well established in the growing conflict with the boys. On 12th and 13th of  November BTS will be opening a global official fan club 'Army (A.R.M.Y)'  with 3 group fan meetings at the Sky Dome, located in Gocheok-dong Guro-gu.

The dark horse is group B1A4's lead vocalist Sandeul. On 4th, he has unveiled his solo debut album containing autobiographical story of a Sandeul's warm emotions. Group Monster-X is also releasing their 4th mini album 'The Clan 2.5 Part 2 Guilty' aiming for more extreme music. 

A feast to Descendants of the Sun stars in 2016 APAN Star Awards.

Many actors and actresses have won the awards to the 2016 Asia Pacific Star Awards and among those are the stars to the KBS hit drama Descendants of the Sun who took most of the glory and glitter! (^_^)

On 1st October, the 2016 APAN Star Awards was held in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul Sangam Cultural Square. It was hosted by comedian Shin Dong Yub and actress/model Honey Lee.


The Best New Male Actor Awards were awarded to actor Yoon Gyun Sang for SBS drama Doctors and Park Bo Gum for tVN drama Reply 1988. 

Best New Female Award was presented to Hyeri for her role in Reply 1988 and also the sageuk queen actress Kim Yoo Jung for Moonlight drawn by Clouds drama. 
Both Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung were not present to receive the awards due to the shooting schedules for their current drama. But fans were very delighted as the two cute stars thanked the event and fans via sending a video message. 

Best Couple Award was presented to actor Song Joong Ki and Song Hae Gyo for their roles in Descendants of the Sun. However Song Hae Gyo didn't attend the ceremony so Joong Ki took the award on behalf for her lamenting it's lonely to receive the award but nevertheless he thanked everyone for it.

Viewers and fans were treated to buttercup gags by veteran actor Kim Sang Joong where he and actress Kim Min Jung were to present the Best Actor Award on stage.

Everyone cracked up when he mentioned that our Song Joong Ki and Song Hae Gyo couple do share the same surname. Then he starts wondering what does actor Sung Dong Il share in common with Song Joong Ki?

The guests just laughed away while Joong Ki had to cover his giggles. Even fellow co-stars Kim Ji Won and Jin Goo were seen laughing away to Lee Byung Hun grinning as well in front of the cameras.

Ji Chang Wook, Song Yun Ah- The K2 ratings soaring up.

Cable channel tVN drama 'The K2 더 케이투' (directed by PD Kwak Jung Hwan and writer Jang Hyeok Rin) is definitely earning lots of interest from viewers while recorded its highest ratings and still cruising away. 

According to the audience measurement company Nielsen Korea, on 1st October, episode 3 of the drama recorded average ratings of 4.6% (nationwide) while it was estimated that moment whereby it recorded the highest audience rating of 5.8% (twice the average viewership of 4.0%). 

Viewership of The K2 drama consists of  women aged between 10-50 years old. 
Episode 3 unveiled this scene of the car speeding around the streets while Kim Je Ha (played by Ji Chang Wook) aimed the gun at the mysterious motorbike people who hacked into the car where Choi Yoo Jin (played by Song Yun Ah) was riding together with Kim.  

As for Episode 4, the drama continue to maintain its top spot rating no# 1. It features more of the untold story on Je Ha, Yoo Jin and Go Anna (played by Im YoonA). Yoo Jin has to bear witnessing all the affairs her husband, Jang Se Joon (played by Jo Seung Ha) has done to the extent of cleaning up all the mess. Yoo Jin finds out the hidden conspiracy by the opposition party Park Kwan Soo (played by Kim Gab Soo). 

Je Ha harbors deep revenge on Park after witnessing his girlfriend being killed in the middle east. Yoo Jin strikes a deal with Je Ha requesting him to work under JSS Security. She offers to be his 'gun' and he has to be the 'bullet' so it's better to have another friend than enemy. From there, Je Ha works as a bodyguard in JSS Security guarding the new VIP who is none other than Anna - Jang's hidden daughter who suffers from panic disorder.
