My thoughts on TVB's Ghost of Relativity 鬼同你OT

It has been a while since I last watched a H-Kong TVB drama. When I went back to Penang, my cousin recommended me one comical drama entitled Ghost of Relativity 鬼同你OT or more known as "Who The Hell Wants to OT?" (in Canto means kwai tong nei OT?)

"Kwai" in Cantonese also means ghost. It can mean in a funny way who the heck wants to OT with you or ghost is having OT with you.

The drama is hillarious for first 15 episodes with the main heroines - May Seun (Kristal Tin) and Gin Keung Yeung (Nancy Wu). May is a silly and clumsy receptionist hired in GSZ Architecture Firm. She is bold, funny and hopelessly romantic. On the first day of work, she screwed up the big project set up by the architect Michael Mai (Moses Chan). Gin was fed up so she sacked May. The silly May was engrossed with her imitation handbag over the real one owned by Gin. She accidentally switched the bags causing Gin to call her and nagged at her. May's imitation phone was overcharged caused Gin to be electrocuted to death. One year later, May went to claim back her handbag and phone from the police station. Surprisingly she could actually communicate with Gin's trapped spirit that has emerged out from the mobile phone.

May was desperate to find a job while Gin is hoping to see Michael again after having her unrequited love for 10 over years. Gin starts to brush up May and made her the office manager in GSZ firm. For those who looked down on her, May managed to stand up and overcome her timid problems. The slow witted and polite Michael is been bullied around and he works hard to earn recognitions from his evil boss and rivals. With May around, he was livelier and even starts feel jealous when Hugo (Eddie Kwan) takes her out for dinner.
Hugo hired the sexy seductress director Lolita (Vivian Yeo) to sway Michael away from work but she fails to do so.

When Michael finally falls in love with May, Gin's ghost is angry and tries creating problems for the two. May avoids Michael as much as she could knowing Gin's one sided crush on him. After realizing Michael could not let go of May, eventually Gin decided to forget everything and leave. Gin was then reborn as May and Michael's little daughter.

To many, it wasn't a great drama as expected as Moses Chan's role didn't shine that much as the two women. Kristal Tin and Nancy Wu delivered their characters very well when they talked to each other. Overall it was a hillarious drama and I enjoyed it.
