Yeon Jung Hoon as KBS drama's 'Dasan Jeong Yak Yong'

Actor Yeon Jung Hoon (38) will be leading the cast for the KBS1TV periodic drama 'Jeong Yak Yong' (writer Hong Sun Mok and PD Han Jun Seo).

Dasan Jeong Yak Yong 다산 정약용 is about Joseon period's greatest thinker who is brilliant in philosophy, intellectual and science theories. Jeong Yak Yong is also a confidant to the 22nd rule of Joseon's King Jeongjo (son of Crown Prince Sado) during 1776-1800 era.

Jeong Yak Yong is also interested in civil engineering which leads to him designing bridges and supervising the construction of Suwon's Hwaseong Fortress walls. 
He also motivates for the socio-political concern seeking for the rule of virtue and righteous government. 

Yeon's recent role in JTBC's drama Ms. Temper and Nam Jung-gi as the heroine's 3rd husband has brought out unexpected appearance. And recently Yeon has welcomed his first child in his household. His current wife actress Han Ga In is busy with motherhood.

Dasan Jeong Yak Yong drama is scheduled to broadcast the first half of next year 2017.
