RV: Resurrected Victims involves a mystery thriller that tells the story of a mother who was murdered in a robbery seven years ago and is set on attacking her own son upon her return from the dead.

Prosecutor Choi Myung Suk (played by Kim Rae Won) is investigating the mysterious death of his mother. He was utterly shocked to see his mother's return and it gets nasty when she starts wielding the sword at him. Agent Sohn Yong Tae (played by Sung Dong Il) is rather confused upon seeing this bizarre scene as it seems Myung Suk is a resurrected victim who comes back for revenge.

Resurrected Victims (RV)  is whereby a person has come back to life for revenge after being unjustly dead. The Resurrected Victims Phenomenon (RVP) is a phenomenon in which a person who has been unjustly killed returns to life and punishes and annihilates the perpetrator.

The new film is directed by PD Kwak who previously directed 'The Classified File' (2015) 'Love' (2007) and 'Friend' (2001).
