Actor Kim Joo Hyuk (45) died in a traffic accident on the afternoon of 30th October where it brought a big shock to the entertainment industry.
Fellow entertainers and celebrities starting pouring their condolences and heartfelt warming messages to the late actor via social media and also cancelling their schedules.
Fellow actor Moon Seung Geun who starred in the movie The Tooth and the Nail also felt sad and posted on Twitter. Actor Yoo Ah In who starred together with Kim in the 2016 movie Like for Likes has brought into the Instagram asking people to mourn the loss of the veteran actor.
Singer Byul has postponed to announce the winner of her fan meeting competition to mourn the loss of the actor. Though she has no direct relations to Kim, but she watched his movies and as a fan, she hoped to convey her condolences to his family.
Actor Lee Si-On also posted that Kim greeted him as Daehakro and it was an honour to meet him. Media industry and associations have posted online to ensure the actor rests in peace.
Director Yoon Seung Ho and Lee Seung Hee have offered their condolences as well.
They have worked together and been friends for a long time.
The VIP premiere of the movie 'Brother' at Megabox COEX at 7.00pm has been cancelled. All actors stage greeting and red carpet were cancelled too. Only films were screened in cinemas. The movie 'Silence' starring Choi Min Sik was also cancelled.
Kim was a veteran actor in various dramas, movies and in the season of 1 Night 2 Days in 2013. He was recently in the drama 'Argon' and his new movie is scheduled to be released next year with almost completed filming. His current girlfriend Lee Yoo Young whom he was going out since last year is seen cancelling her schedule in Running Man program after hearing the sudden death of Kim.
