Korean Duck BBQ at Oree Restaurant in Melbourne CBD.

Managed to secure myself a coupon dinner for a Korean BBQ banquet for 2 people at a cheaper price. OREE Duck restaurant is new and located at 179 Queen Street in Melbourne CBD. This place is within the business district and there are not many restaurants or fanciful shops around except for working area. It's sandwiched with the Adina Apartments at Queen Street.

Due to the Scoop On vouchers, many people bought it online and decided to try this place out. Its famous for its duck BBQ instead of the normal pork or beef bulgogi BBQ.
Everything served is duck. From duck spring rolls, duck pancake, duck bulgogi, duck bibimbap and duck salad. This is the only restaurant that serves patbingsu (the so-called ice kacang of Korea). Its shaved ice with milk, sweetened red beans and some bits on top of it.
The banquet consists of few side dishes (banchan), steamed egg, duck salad, duck fried spring rolls, 1/2 portion of duck marinated in the gojuchang paste with onions, spring onions, carrots and mushrooms. It comes with 2 serves of rice and 2 cans of drinks.

At the end of the meal, we have 2 small bowls of patbingsu. Mmm...overall it was nice.

Service was good and place was neat. The waitresses could all converse well in English.
If it wasn't for the cheap banquet and voucher, I doubt people will come here as it's located out of nowhere in Queen St. It's not close to Chinatown or big restaurants...just a joint good for weekdays lunches or Friday night dinners. It'd be super quiet in the weekend as there are no offices.

It was nice change of duck bulgogi instead of the pork or beef.
