1 Night 2 Days- Trip to Your House (Part 2)- Episode 401

Members of 1N2D continued their next journey after visiting Junho's parents at Seoul vicinity and they are headed to Jongmin's aunt's house for the summer vacation special. This episode took the audience by storm at ratings 18.7% nationwide. The unfolding story starts where Jongmin is unaware of where they are heading until PD Yoo tells them. He looks dumbfounded as it's been a while since he last visited his hometown. 

Jongmin was raised here by his uncle and aunt who are around in their 80s and they looked a bit frail too with white hair. Jongmin lost his father when he was a teenager so he stayed with his relatives in this rural part of town. 2 elderly folks- Geum Ja (the so-called nightingale) and the Village Head were chosen to play a game with the members. Village Head goes with LTE Team (Junyoung, Taehyung and Defconn) while Geumja goes along with 3G Team (Juhyuk, Junho and Jongmin). The elders have to listen to some pop idol music played on the headphones while the team take a guess of the songs they were to sing out. It was a hillarious scene where 3G team only answered 6 questions correctly. Geumja started with Sorry Sorry and immediately they knew it was Super Junior's hit song! Old granny exploded well when she started mumbling and suddenly she blarred out 'The black cat...' followed by the team screaming Nero...Nero! It's a popular 80s song by Turbo group by Kim Jongkook.

Then she started humming a funny tune which was CN Blue's song I am A Loner but when she sang the song it just looked as if the handsome band members turned into a bunch of quails! Crayon Pop's Jumping was priceless where Junyoung and Taehyun were seen laughing to death since granny sang "chirping..chirping" instead of pumping! Nevertheless 3G team managed to score the last song - Gangnam Styleas old granny mumbled the words- Yeongyeongpa.... with the right rhythm instead of Gangnam style! LOL!

Now LTE team was leading so well with Defconn guessed all the questions correctly! He seemed to connect the vibe so well with the Village Head. Junyoung picked up the song Loser by BigBang as he only mentioned the word- 'trash'. Defconn was the man of the day. With 2-3 words, he knew the title of the song the Village Head was singing! He knew it was Taeyang's Look at Me Only, Crying Nut's song, JY Park's Honey...etc. The guys managed to guess Orange Caramel's song Catellena when the Village Head just mentioned "rough..rough" during his humming. Junyoung pitied 3G team and said if one of the members could guessed right, only 2 need to sleep outdoor tent. Jongmin was leading at first when he guessed Big Bang's Fantastic Baby but he lost out when Juhyuk scored the final board My Ear's Candy. Junho and Jongmin ended up in the tent pitched outside with rain drops for the entire night. The next morning the team decided to visit Jongmin's father's grave to pay respects. They brought necessary drinks, food, fruits for the ancestal rites ceremony- a simple but meaningful one. It brought Jongmin to tears as he started to reminisce his childhood memories and his late-father. They bid farewell to Jongmin's aunts with the elderly folks while village people gave them a box of drinks! How nice!

Next- they are headed to the nearest airport to take the domestic flight to Jeju island!
Ah...the picturesque landscapes of Jeju island, beautiful emerald sea, great seafood and best of all famous for its black pork dish! Jeju is Junyoung's parent's home since they moved here 4 years ago. He hardly visit his parents but often talked to his mom on the phone. He announced that his mom's home cooking is quite bad so he wouldn't take any risk to eat home food. First they have to play a game- pick a room- rock or island. One of the rooms contain best seafood and stew wherelse the other contains one 3 packets of instant noodles and one live abalone. Junyoung went first and picked the wrong room. Junho followed him and was shocked. Defconn and Taehyun went to the right room to enjoy the big feast. Juhyuk quickly tagged along Defconn to savour the seafood stew. The other room were fretting away with ramen and one abalone. Hahah! That's all luck.

Next they were headed to the beach and started taking selfie shots. Junho was this funny pose and his stylist dressed him up in a funny hat that looks like a Mickey ears headgear. They started grabbing the ears to tease him. PD Yoo tells them it's bukbolbok for dinner so winner gets to eat black pork dish...etc at a famous restaurant recommended by Junyoung's mother. The teams gathered their courage to play the elephant spin marathon games. Juhyuk looks half dead after spinning so many times. First game Saving Private Sprite was hillarious when Defconn took the last stand from Jongmin but his shirt was all ripped apart.
2nd round game was elephant spin and then whoever lies well on the hammock wins the game. Juhyuk and Taehyun were defeated and dizzy over the tons of spinning. Junyoung won the game and they teased Defconn to sit on the hammock causing the steel to bend and he fell over! What a sight! The pig was too heavy to lie on the hammock! Hahah! Ju Hyuk gave up for the 3rd round as he's feeling nausea and he suggested PD Yoo to take his place instead- this is a rare sight seeing the PD himself taking part in the show!
