KBS Drama: Healer (힐러) on air 8th Dec 2014

When I first saw the promotional trailer and poster of KBS's new drama Healer, it reminded me so much of "City Hunter" starring Lee Min Ho & Park Min Young. This round they have casted Park Min Young again as the lead actress but the leads stole the limelight. They are none other than Ji Chang Wook and Yoo Ji Tae. Ji Chang Wook is known for his role as the Emperor in Empress Ki with Ha Ji Won while veteran actor Yoo Ji Tae was out of the drama screen for a while and now he returns back to team up as a reporter.

So what's the storyline about? It's about reporter Kim Moon Ho (Yoo Ji Tae) digs in and finds out the real truth behind case from the past. He helps those people from those cases and struggles in believing the truth behind those cases. There's a nosy online journalist Chae Young Shin (Park Min Young) assists Moon Ho along with sidekick Seo Jung Ho (Ji Chang Wook) more widely known as 'healer'. How does that sound? Still flat? I don't know how this story will pick up but I am hoping for a more action drama like City Hunter after seeing the promo posters of Ji Chang Wook in black leather jacket, reflective specs and cap like a dude ready for mission impossible!
Oh by the way- can I have that impressive specs that Ji Chag Wook wears all the time?

Park Min Young seems to be delivering a bright smile image as a nosy internet journalist while Yoo Ji Tae presents a charismatic famous reporter. The 'Healer' is an action romance Invigorating thoughts of the same thing and youth living with their parents left embroiled with world politics and social justice. The Healer starts airing after Cantabile Tomorrow ends this week.
