Memories of the Sword: 협녀: 칼의 기억 K-Movie with Lee Byung Hun.

Memories of the Sword- 협녀: 칼의 기억 (Hyup nyeon kkal ee gi yeok) literally means female warrior and memory of the sword is a new Korean film due to release this 29th August 2015. The movie is directed by Park Heung Shik and written by Park and Cho A-Reum. 

Starring A-list actors Lee Byung Hun, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, Lee Joon Ho, Kim Tae Woo and Bae Soo Bin. The story tells about Pong Cheon, Seol Rang and Deok Gi who are brilliant swordsman in the Goryeo century. Goryeo is even before the Joseon dynasty when the name Korea is been derived by the original name Goryeo. The 3 swordsman desire freedom and justice. 

Deok Gi who betrays his fellow mates and Pong Cheon died in the beginning. Remaining female warrior Seol Rang disappears with Pong Cheon's daughter, Hong Ee. Deok Gi finds himself enraged in prophecy that Seol Rang and himself will be killed by Hong Ee when she grows up. 

Many years later Seol Rang disguised with a new identity as Walso begins a different life since she was blinded and has her own business. She is filled with revenge against Deok Gi so she teaches Hong Ee everything she could.

Hong Ee is now a grown up woman goes with a new name as Seol Hee who cares less of her past and instead prefers managing the current business. One day Hong Ee stumbles across a sword match and Deok Gi notices her sword skills identifying it as Seol Rang's. He tells his people to kidnap Hong Ee but she escaped. Seol Rang spills the truth to Hong Ee about her father's death and to revenge back on Deok Gi and including herself!

Shocked to learn the truth and the past, Hong Ee starts her new journey for revenge.
