Super Junior- first Korean artist to win Teen Choice Awards.

Hallyu group, Super Junior became the first Korean artist to win the 2015 Teen Choice Awards in the United States. They were the first ever Korean singer to win this award.

On the 17th August, according to their agency SM Entertainment, at 4.00 pm (local time), it was published in the official website (http://www.teenchoice.com) '2015 Teen Choice Awards- Super Junior group was named the winner under the category of 'Best International Artist.'

Best International Artist award is mostly awarded to the most influential artists in the world outside the United States. In fact Super Junior has beaten out the ever popular British boy group One Direction and the Australian rock band Five Seconds of Summer. 

In addition, Super Junior's official fanclub ELF (Everlasting Friends) also took the 'Best Fandom Award'. The fan club of the Super Junior has enjoyed the pleasure of winning it.

SM boasted that Korean artists were awarded at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards for the group Super Junior for the very first time. They have proven to be popular around the word.

Teen Choice Awards is held since 1999 in the United States sponsored by FOX channel in the world and considered the most popular and influential music, movies, TV shows, entertainer, such as the selections of the award ceremony. This award has participation through votes via SNS and netizens of the world ranging about 25 million people.

Super Junior has released their special album last month, and on the 16th titled 'Devil' and across national music sites, as well as Europe and Asia. They were ranked a total of 10 regional comprehensive iTunes Album chart, Chinese sources and took the first place in the music video chart week.

Meanwhile, Super Junior members are doing their individual activities after finished promoting their album Devil. 2 members are currently serving the army while another is on hiatus.
